Honolulu Zoo - Though by no means the largest in the US, the Honolulu Zoo is certainly one of the nicest. This sprawling zoo stretches for forty acres and includes a seven and one-half acre African safari. - 151 Kapahula Avenue. Admission: $6.

Pleasant Hawaiian (formerly "Kodak") Hula Show - This famed Hula show has been in operation since 1937 and to this day, continues to offer some of the most colorful Hula shows around. - 2805 Monsarrat Avenue

Waikiki Aquarium - This aquarium features over 300 different species and varieties of marine life, and recently, $3 million was used to add on a new Hawaii reef habitat. - 2777 Kalakaua Avenue. Admission: $7.

Waikiki War Memorial Natatorium - Constructed in 1927 in memory of those killed in the first world war, the Natatorium has recently undergone extensive renovation work. - 2777 Kalakaua Avenue.
